How to use PostroAI, start to finish
Written in the order the screens appear. If you are stuck on one part, jump straight to it from the index.
01Create an account and sign in
Name, email and password. Sign-up asks for no card and costs nothing.
The account is created on a single screen and you go straight into the product. A card is only asked for at the moment you decide to subscribe to a plan, on a separate screen.
Keep track of the email you used: it is what identifies your account in any support conversation. If you work with a partner, prefer an email the business controls rather than the personal one of someone who might leave later.
Today a password change happens inside the app and requires your current password. There is no email recovery link yet. If you lose access, write from the same email you signed up with through the contact page and we will sort it out by hand.
02Set up your brand
This is the setup that separates a post that looks like yours from a generic one. You do it once.
The brand is everything the AI needs to know about your business before it writes anything. The initial setup is short on purpose: the business name, the trade, what you sell, how customers reach you (a shop, online, or both), the city, your ideal customer and your tone.
The logo is optional. Plenty of people who arrive here do not have one yet, and stalling the setup over it would turn away exactly the people this product exists for. You can add it later, and you can generate a logo inside the app if you want.
You can also upload up to three pieces you have already published. They are not copied: what the AI reads there is the identity (palette, contrast, weight of the typography, whether the look is clean or busy) so that new artwork comes out in your style.
What you sell
The most important field in the whole setup, and the quickest to fill in. Without it the image generator guesses the object from your trade, and a bakery turns into a stock photo of bread.
Facts you can back up
Numbers, deadlines and guarantees only show up in the text if they are written here. It is the field that stops the AI from inventing a 24-hour delivery you do not offer.
What the AI must never say
Your list of banned words. It matters enormously in a regulated trade, where one wrong word in a caption becomes a problem with a professional body or a customer.
Product catalog
Real photos of your items, with names and descriptions. It lets the artwork show the product the customer will actually receive, instead of an imagined version of it.
03Create your first post
Four short screens, and you only really write on one of them.
Creation starts at New post and runs through four screens. None of them asks you to know how to write a prompt or understand design.
1. What you want to make
A single post, a carousel (several slides in one publication), or a plan with several posts at once, to cover the week or the whole month.
2. What it is about
One line in plain language, the way you would tell a customer. Concrete details go in exactly as you wrote them: Monday deal, lunch box for $22, until 2 p.m.
3. How the post opens
The app offers different openings on the subject you wrote, and you pick the one you would actually say to a customer's face. This is where you see where the post is heading before spending a creation.
4. How it will look
The format (square feed, portrait, story or Facebook) and the image style. The format changes how much text has to live inside the artwork: a story has no caption underneath, so the whole message goes in the image.
04While the artwork is being made
About a minute per image, and you do not have to sit and watch.
Once you confirm, the creation goes into a queue and you can leave the screen, move around the app, or even close the tab. Progress lives under Creations in progress, and the app tells you when it is done.
If a creation fails, it shows up on that same screen with the reason, and you can try again. A failure does not quietly eat your plan: whatever got stuck stays visible instead of disappearing.
05Review before you publish
The step nobody can do for you. You are the one who knows your customer and your prices.
The post opens with the artwork, the caption and the hashtags together. Before downloading, check these five things, which are the ones that cause the most trouble after publishing:
Price and conditions
Check the amount, the discount and the deadline of the offer. Advertising something you do not actually offer is a problem with your customer and with the law.
Phone, address and opening hours
A wrong contact detail turns a good post into a lost customer.
Product name
Check that the item mentioned really is what you sell and that the name matches what you use in the shop.
Spelling inside the artwork
The text in the image is drawn along with it, and a wrong letter happens. If it does, generate again or fix the text before downloading.
The tone of the caption
If it drifted away from how you talk, you can ask for a caption adjustment without spending a creation.
06Download, copy and share
A high-resolution file, no watermark, commercial use included. Publishing is yours to do.
Download hands you the image in high resolution, ready to post, print on a flyer or use in a paid ad. Copy everything takes the caption and hashtags at once, to paste into the network.
The share button creates a public link to the post, with no sign-in, so you can send it to a partner or client for approval before publishing. That link shows only that post, nothing else from your account, and you can switch it off whenever you like.
PostroAI does not publish for you. We hand over the finished material, and you choose the network and the time.
07The calendar and the month's plan
So you stop deciding what to post every single day.
The calendar shows what is already created and scheduled, and lets you generate the week or the whole month at once based on what your business does. The commemorative dates it shows are the Brazilian ones, because that is the calendar the product ships today.
The system also keeps track of what you have already published so it does not repeat a subject or a composition. That is not decoration: reusing the same hook every couple of weeks is the fastest way to wear out the people who follow you.
08Text tools
The things around the post that nobody has time to write.
Besides posts, the app writes profile bios, Reels scripts, Stories sequences and ready-made replies to the questions that land in your DMs (price, payment, delivery, availability). All in the tone of whichever brand is active.
None of these tools spends a creation, because none of them makes artwork.
09Working with more than one brand
Each brand has its own identity, catalog, library and calendar.
If you handle more than one business, you switch brands with the selector at the top of the app. Switching changes everything at once: what the AI knows, the archive in the library and the calendar you see.
How many brands fit depends on your plan. The separation exists precisely so one client's content never leaks into another's post.
10Creations: what costs what
Making artwork costs a creation. Touching the text does not.
Your plan gives you a number of creations per month, and it is a single number. A creation is one new piece of artwork coming out of the AI: a post is one creation, each carousel slide is one creation, each product shot is one creation. Asking for the artwork again is another creation, because it is a new generation, and adapting it to another format makes one piece of artwork per format you pick.
Editing the caption, asking for a text adjustment, generating hashtags, scheduling and sharing cost nothing. The app tells you the cost before the click, not after.
When the month's creations run out, new artwork stops until the 1st, when the counter comes back full on its own. If you need it sooner, you can move up a plan on the Account screen. Nothing you already made is deleted.
11Account, plan and billing
All on the account page, including the cancel button.
On the account page you see the plan in force, how much you have used this month, your billing history and the button to move up a plan or cancel. In Brazil, payment is by Pix or credit card; elsewhere billing has not opened yet and the account runs on the free trial.
Cancelling does not cut access immediately: the cycle you already paid for runs to the end. It also does not delete what you made.
12When something goes wrong
The four cases that come up most, and what to do about each.
The artwork came out with a misspelled word
Generate the image again. The text is drawn along with the piece, so every generation writes it from scratch. If the same word keeps going wrong, change the phrasing of the post: proper nouns and uncommon words are the ones that slip through most.
The creation failed or got stuck
Open Creations in progress. The item is there with the reason and the option to try again. If it keeps failing, talk to us and send a screenshot of that screen.
I lost access to my account
Email recovery does not exist yet. Write from the same address you signed up with through the contact page, telling us the name of your business, and we will unlock it.
The account is blocked
A suspended account can still open a ticket and see the account page. Use the support inside the app to appeal: that is the route that arrives identified.
Did not find your question here?
Write to us and tell us what you were trying to do and what appeared on screen. If you already have an account, a ticket inside the app arrives identified and is the fastest route.
