Cookie Policy

This is a short cookie policy, because we only have one cookie to explain. No trackers, no advertising, and no annoying banner asking you to accept anything.

Last updated: 18 de agosto de 2026

01The short version

One cookie. Just one.

PostroAI uses a single cookie, called postroai_session, and it exists only to keep you signed in as you move from one page to the next.

We use no audience analytics tool, we have no social network pixel, we have no advertising cookie, and we do not sell browsing data to anyone. That is why you see no cookie banner here: a cookie that is essential to running the service does not depend on prior consent.

02What a cookie actually is

A cookie is a small text file that a site stores in your browser and reads back on your next visit. On its own it is neither good nor bad: everything depends on what is written inside it and on who can read it.

There are essential cookies, without which the site simply does not work (that is the case for the one that keeps you signed in), and non-essential ones, used to measure audiences, test page variants, or chase you with adverts across the rest of the internet. PostroAI only has the first kind.

03The cookie we use

Name
postroai_session
Type
Essential. First party, meaning it is created by PostroAI itself and not by a third party.
What it is for
It holds your authenticated session. It is what lets the site know you have already signed in, so it does not ask for your email and password on every click.
What it contains
Your session identifier, in encrypted form. It stores no password, no payment data, and none of the content of your posts.
Lifetime
Up to 30 days, renewed while you keep using the product. When you sign out, it is deleted immediately.
Protections
It is httpOnly, meaning no script on the page can read it, which reduces the risk of session theft. In production it travels only over a secure connection, and it uses the SameSite=Lax policy, which prevents another site from sending it on your behalf.

That cookie only exists after you sign in. Anyone merely browsing the public pages of the site receives no cookie at all.

04What we do not use

Worth spelling out, because these days it is the exception:

  • No audience analytics tool. We do not measure your navigation page by page with a third-party service.
  • No social network pixel. There is no Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or LinkedIn code installed on the site.
  • No advertising or remarketing cookie. We do not follow you around with adverts after you leave.
  • No heatmaps, no session recording, and no cross-site tracking.

If that ever changes, this page will be updated before any new cookie goes live, and we will start asking for your consent for the cookies that are not essential.

05One preference kept in your browser

It is not a cookie, but it is only fair to mention: when you choose between the light and dark theme, that preference is saved in your own browser’s local storage, so the site opens the way you like it on your next visit.

That information never leaves your device, is never sent to our servers, and does not identify you. Clearing your browser data erases the preference.

06How to turn it off

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings, in the privacy and security section. You can also simply sign out, which deletes the session cookie immediately.

One practical warning: because postroai_session is essential, blocking it stops sign-in from working. You will still be able to browse the public pages, but you will not be able to get into the app. The public pages keep opening normally with cookies disabled.

07Changes to this policy

If the list of cookies changes, we update this page and the date at the top. The full context of how data is handled is in the Privacy Policy, and your rights are detailed on the data subject rights page. Any question about cookies? ola@postroai.com.
